    Dependable Truck & Tank Limited is looking for a highly-motivated Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team located in Brampton. This role will report directly to the owners of the company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reconciliation of banks, balance sheet accounts
    • Create and post journal entries as needed
    • Performs accounts analysis and records adjusting entries
    • Performs month end duties (including journal entries) as assigned
    • Assist with audit requests
    • Analyze financial information and summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
    • Present reports to the Board of Directors

  2. Fabricator/Welder

    We are looking to fill a position of FABRICATOR/ WELDER with previous experience working in a custom production and manufacturing environment that has 5-7 years’ experience. Being a custom fabrication shop producing highway petroleum cargo tankers, we require a candidate to custom fit the fabricated assemblies made to their assigned trucks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Welding aluminum with (MIG& TIG), using tools such as brake presses
    • Read blueprints and show drawings for custom work
    • Use manual mill and lathe machines to fabricate parts
    • Use machine shop tools such as brake presses, drill presses and shears to cut, bend and tap parts, experience with manual plasma torch, chop saw, hand drills and grinders.

    Skills:

    • Work from blueprints and raw materials to finished parts that can be welded together into complete products

    • To install LPG valves and assemble piping equipment
    • To Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts of LPG pumps, piping and metering systems used to load and unload propane trucks
    • To perform low and high pressure tests on tanks and their equipment using both air and water to identify any faults and for leaks
    • To pressure test, repair and replace delivery hoses and fittings

Internally this position is referred to as a B620 inspector which signifies the individual responsible for testing the unit to the B620-20 standard which is a regulatory standard the industry is governed by.

    • To repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts on petroleum pumps, piping and metering systems used to load and unload tanker trucks

    • Return defective parts and follow up with Parts coordinator as required

    • Detail the interior and exterior of stock vehicles
    • Perform rustproofing, paint protection, and fabric protection
    • Use the buffer to polish vehicles as required
    • Maintain the detailing equipment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Automotive detailing experience on fire trucks preferred
    • Experienced in providing exceptional customer service
    • Team oriented, adaptable, with a positive attitude.
    • A proven self-starter with excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task with effective time management skills

    Monday - Friday: 7am - 4pm

  7. Production Lead/Coordinator

    We are looking for a Production Lead/Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and control of our emergency vehicle assembly line. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the quality, productivity, safety, and team members schedule, at one of two production sites.

    We are recruiting applicants who we can count on to keep everyone on task and on schedule, ensuring that production goals are met, and provide input to help improve operations and streamline workflows. You will work with other departments and personnel that are part of the production process and will collaborate together as a team, to coordinate the production flow between locations.

    Our ideal candidate is quick to adapt to changing priorities and demands from any issues that may arise, will actively listen to fellow team members about concerns, and be versatile and resourceful in providing solutions.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Review work orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules to meet production goals
    • Work with team members in providing instructions, direction, and deadlines
    • Plan equipment, material, and personnel needed for job order
    • Plan and monitor movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
    • Monitor progress and execution of job orders, revising schedules as needed for timely delivery
    • Coordinate with supervisor in resolving production planning and control issues
    • Review production plans to identify and report potential issues and risks to management
    • Communicate and report production updates to senior management on regular basis

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a similar role, minimum of 5 years’ experience
    • Experience with Microsoft office applications and inventory software
    • Proven organizational planning and scheduling
    • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
    • Excellent customer service & time management skills
    • G license
